Hello! My name is Vanessa and, BOY, do I have a story to tell!. I'm a plus-size, professional woman starting over with life (so-to-speak). So that you know, I had no intention of starting a blog. Are you kidding? I didn't think I had anything to contribute. Until... One day, after working for X amount of years, I had to admit to myself MY truth - I was NOT my high school weight! But, IT'S OK! After my divorce, raising two successful children - who have given me the MOST wonderful grandchildren, and meeting the love of my life, it has been an amazing journey for me! So, back to this whole "blogging" thing. I decided to treat myself to a few new clothing items. When I went online to shop (I'll talk about online shopping in a dedicated post), but there was nothing to find in my size, for my age, for my style of work wear. What a disappointment Since then, it's been my quest to find outfits for professional, plus-sized ladies. I began on Pinterest because I knew I couldn't be the only one looking for nice outfits. Most of the "curvy lady" blogs just gave you a peek of nice clothes but didn't tell you WHERE to find them. Or, they showed you how the clothes looked on them - almost to say, "see, I found something!" I considered these blogs a slap in the face! Fast-forward to a few weeks ago, when I had an epiphany - SHOW THEM AND THEY WILL FIND! Also, I'll engage you and provide you with other meaningful information, pertaining to a successful life with career balance, health and wellness AND so much more!
